Are you sure it wasnt the doctor dropping you on your head, not the vaccines that made you the way you were?

WEll, I'm not into his therapies so I can't tell you. All I know, I trust him on the issue of vaccines. I think he is for real. PLus he presents facts to back his claims up and also I've seen many other sources against vaccines. All these people cannot be wrong. It's obvious that pharmaceuticals are making billions off of human saffering, so they'll do anything to keep people sick. Are you trying to tell me that all these medical deities would want to lose their jobs ?That's what would happen if people became more healthy. I think doctors are good for certain things like broken bones, emergencies, etc.., even certain deseases. But I certainly wouldn't go to a doctor to cure cancer.

It amazes me how somebody would trust government instead of common sense.
For all you sceptical conspiracy theorists out there, apply the same level of scepticism to EVERYTHING. Don't arbitrary disbelieve some stuff and willingly be lead by the nose by others.
If you don't believe the "government" then read some independent research yourself. Truly independent research will not call itself "independent" and definitely won't call itself "anti-government". It shouldn't have to. Furthermore, it will declare any potentital conflicts of interest (e.g., funding).
I suggest that you read the BMJ articles that were linked to before. From all the best evidence that we have now (and there was some fairly significant epidemiological studies recently published, the MMR vaccine does not cause autism.
Before you go into another tirade that "you don't believe", please actually READ the article and furthermore, look up all the references. Unlike the authors who you would like to believe, who is doing no more than generating controversy and playing at public fears for commercial gain, those studies were actually designed rigorously to ask and answer the question, "does MMR increase the risk of autism". The answer from these studies is "no".
But I doubt very much I'm going to convince you. No more than it was possible to convince all those (IMHO) nuts that planes were not going to fall out of the sky on 1/1/2000 and that building a bunker in the middle of a forest was a pretty stupid thing to do...

My dad is a doctor
he says that some vaccines are good while others are completely unsafe.
He says that it was a great invention that got carried to the extreme by the morons in charge.
The morons in charge think that just because cowpox makes you develop an immunity to smallpox means that there is a vaccine for every ill under the sun.
A wise man would not beleive such nonsense.
I got very ill after being stuck with the needle.

so I made a mistake in spelling(who doesn't on the internet),does that dispell the validity of my argument?I never really care if someone's spelling is correct or not unless it is truly horrid it does not matter-it is not like we get paid to post
my dad's field is really none of your business, but no but he did read all the time about the stuff
you seem pretty worked up about this, seriously take a chill pill or 2
try not to take it so personally that someone might have a different viewpoint than you
doctors certainly don't know everything no matter what their field is or how long they have been at it
-
With respect, if you are going to write about someone else's opinions on the subject, then the least you can do is write a little more about how they came to this opinion and on what ground they stand when they make it. Otherwise, the hallucinations of the local crack head would count as much as those of an expert in the field, which is hardly the way it should be.
My comment about grammar was clearly meant as a joke - if you're upset for the purpose of distracting attention from the lack of substance in your argument, then tough.
It is true that doctors don't know everything, but that was a rather silly comment to make - no one does!
But then we have spent about 15-20 years just to get where we are, so you can understand the dislike of some crack-pot theory that undermines not just what has been learned but, more importantly the health of those that cannot decide for themselves i.e. children.

This is moving towards becoming a stupid thread so it is being locked.
In summary, the vast majority of vaccines that are commonly used (i.e., your regular childhood ones) are safe. In fact, they are very safe. You are much more likely to die from drowning or a motor vehicle accident as a child than having a life-threating/severe reaction from vaccination.
No one, to my knowledge, is suggesting we should ban backyard pools or motor cars.
The MMR (measles-mumps-rubella) triple vaccine has been at the centre of some controversy about it's supposed link to autism. There are some interesting correlations but all the large studies recently published have been pretty clear -- MMR does not increase the risk of autism.
And for all you conspiracy fanatics, some food for thought. Correlation does not equal causation.
There is a pretty strong positive correlation world wide between the use of toothpaste (i.e., brushing your teeth) and obesity. Does that mean that brushing your teeth makes you become fat?
It just indicates underlying confounding factors (in this case, Western lifestyle).
