The fact that I, and just about every other sane person on this planet does not agree with rcc's views, is not justification for closing a thread. If he were in violation of forum rules, then that is another matter, but closing a thread because of a difference of opinion would be censorship and an abuse of a moderators power. Listen, I'm a doctor. I know vaccines are safe, otherwise I wouldn't have regular boosters to stop be catching infections from patients who haven't been vaccinated.

You should know yourself - you probably had at least 5 vaccinations as a child, and you are alive and well (really stretching credibility here...) today.

You trust pharmaceutical companies every time you take an aspirin, so vaccines shouldn't be any different.

Actually if you browse that site some more you can see that they write about other doctors/crack pots so no, your 'doctor' is not "turning the medical community upside down".

I think you missed the piont of my post. I was using those 2 countries simply to emphasize a point and show the numbers involved. I was not suggesting we become the 51st state

Total combined population of these countries = 343 million

The use of the USA and UK was for the purposes of example, not as a statement about which countries should be left alive (and presumably organise) after mass extinctions. There was an article in the press and on the TV in the UK some weeks ago about a particular chemical in crisps, (or potato chips to those of you in the USA). Don't ask me what the chemical was because I can't remember, but the amount of this chemical that was allowed in crisp packaging was restricted due to the fact that it could be carcenogenic. It was discovered that this chemical was produced in the crisps themselves during the baking process and was over 130 times what was allowed in the packaging of the crisps.

As I know Americans are partial to the odd potato chip, you could just as easily contribute the rise in cancer cases to the increased consumption of potato chips.

Lifestyles have changed, we eat more pre-processed foods, more addatives, more e-numbers, there is more polution in the air, we exercise less and eat more, we smoke too much, we drink too much. How many of us truthfully have a really healthy diet. All these factors could contribute to an increase in the cases of cancer. It does not mean there is some government conspiracy to kill off people with vaccines.

More and more people in the UK and the USA are now obese. The numbers are growing all the time (along with the waistlines), is this down to some sort of fat suppliment in the vaccines, or do you think it is more likely that we just all eat too much, and exercise too little.

By the way I think the figures are 1 in 3 people will contract cancer at some point in their life, not 1 in 3 will die from cancer.

1) Where did you get your data? Please provide references, not just 'I know a guy...'

2) How many medical journals have you read on the subject? Or is the 'National Enquirer' a respected journal for you?

Instead of filling your head with crap, read what people have written:

1) The rise in autism is NOT linked to use of vaccines. The rise in autism is attributable to better diagnostic tools and more research. The harder you look, the more you will find - it doesn't mean it wasn't there before. Read the British Medical Journal references I provided. Please feel free to supply information from a respected medical journal to the contrary.

2) 1 in 3 people do NOT die of cancer. 1 in 3 people DEVELOP cancer. 80% of these are over the age of 55 (50 years after most vaccinations). Nearly a third of cancers are still in remission 5 years after treatment.
Environmental factors (cigarettes, diet etc) are the cause of over 75% of cancers. Family history accounts for most of the rest.
