Maestro's great, but may have more power than you need, and it's tougher to use (you have to create your own buttons, etc)

I'm a fan of DVD Workshop, very easy to use, lots of button, meny options, templates, flexible, gives good results, authors without reencoding. About the only thing important things it can't do that Maestro can do are deal with multiple audio tracks or subtitle tracks.

can you import DD 5.1 audio tracks in DVD Workshop? I dont think so... so it's useless? Can you import chapters/subtitles? well I dont know anything about that software...

who really wants make own menus in dvd-r's when you can use original menus instead... I know it's hard to learn but not too hard... 8)

or just skip menus and only author with DVDmaestro... that's very simple to do...

    Zzzzzzzzzzz

Not everyone who creates DVD's does so from ripped movies. I make motion menu's for DVD's I create from home video footage from my DV camera, and from shows I capture off the TV. Where do I get the original menu's for these ?
