  1. I have this player and just recently bought a PC with a DVDr burner. I have followed the directions for DIVX -> DVD to the letter 12 times in a row, nothing but coasters. Each time I tweak, and read more, tweak, and read more. They all turn out with great picture and the sound is in sync it just cuts out for a second or two sporadically. I am at my wits end. I feel like I have tried everything, and was wondering could it be my player?

Does anyone have a 3750, and if so do you ever burn DVDr and have it play successfully? Please help me here.

  2. First.. make sure the project plays on your computer with windvd or powerdvd, or something like that. This will help you isolate the problem. If it does not play on your computer as a dvd, then you have a problem with your procedure. If however, it plays ok on the computer, but then after it is burned does not play, there are a couple of things you can try. First, check the dvd player compatability charts to make sure it will play dvd-r or dvd-rw, and use one or either of the discs (preferable -rw until you get it working), whichever the charts say it will play. Next, which burning software are you using? My toshiba sd4800 (? I think..) did not like dvd-r burned with nero, but works fine with prassi (note: possible I did not have settings correct, but I have seen a number of posts dogging nero for dvd burning). Last, try another brand of media, preferably one that gets good comments in the dvdr media section.
Also, if the burned disc plays ok in your dvd-rom on your computer, but not on your standalone, then you most likely you either need to try another burning software or media, or get a standalone that supports dvd-r (from memory I think the sd3750 is suppose to.. so that shouldn't be your problem)

  3. The last DVDr I made palys fine on my PC using powerDVD. I use Ulead DVD Workshop for burning. My media is listed as compliant for my burner (Pioneer DV-104) and my DVD player (Toshiba sd3750) claims to be DVDr friendly.

I will try to burn my already authered vidoe using Nero tonight while I sleep. I hope it works. If anyone else has any suggestion, please add them. Thank you all for your help.
