    ok... i need some advice

i have a dv cam which i have recorded some snowborders in action - i need to put this on to a website for people to view. i have captured the movie with premiere 6 and converted to mpg with tmpmpg - and to say there are 'low quality' is an understatement!

i have visited sites where the movies have been high quality for the same file size...(approx 10-15 sec clips)

i have decreased the bit rate etc to make the file size smaller for 56k veiwers - but the movies, to watch , are just poo...

    what are my options anyone??!
    Any help is FAAAANTASTIC.. :D

Convert to divx with mp3 audio instead. You should be able to select that in premiere if you have installed www.divx.com and some mp3 codec www.vcdhelp.com/tools#codecs or use virtualdub www.vcdhelp.com/avi2divx

divx (mpeg4) is very good for small file sizes.

windows media (another mpeg4 like divx) will give you good quality for small file size and be compatable more so than divx (which is not for streaming anyway - in terms of compatability)

or another good choice is Quicktime -- which yields great results .. and is compatable with almost all systems also ..
