  1. Where is the best place to buy dvd-r media in the uk ?? I have seen adverts which quote £0.80 each for 4.7 Gb. Should I avoid these ??

I use the Ritek Unbranded silver (by spool) at about 1.29 each, and have never had an error. They are the cheapest I was able to find without errors (I tried 4 or 5 cheap brands)

at £8.99 they're cheaper than a lot of the dvd-r & work ok on my sony dvd player. Something to think about

  6. I use blankdiscshop.co.uk for my orders.

They are very cheap, and delivery is very quick.

    I just bought these:

NEW FWS BRANDED 4.7GB DVD-R disc (Pack of 25 discs)

The new version of the branded high quality FWS disc.

Has anyone had any experience with them, especially using the sony dru500a, or a pioneer dv350 standalone dvd player.
