  1. Svcd's i made with TMPGEnc2.53 won't play on my DvD-player(Daewoo DVG-5000D)

it won`t play the last 10 min of the svcd of each cd....
when i insert a svcd and it plays automaticly it plays the hole movie
but when i must play it manually then it won`t play the last 10 minutes
    of each cd

Only the svcd i created myself won`t play the last 10 min,but on my friends standalone player it works GREAT!!

can somebody help me with this one...

    thanx

  2. did you check the dvd player compatibility section of this website??? it'll tell you which formats and at what max bitrate you can use (audio + video)

also, make sure you burn no faster than 4x. also, certain dvd players may feel more comfortable with certain brands..

did you make sure you burned at 4x or less????

i took a look at your dvd player in the compatibility section..looks like not much info or comments on it...

however, there was one comment on it that looked interesting..

    "Great player !!
Only one problem when paying SVCD.
When I use FF the sound delays.
I don´t know how to solve this problem (Yet).."

when you had problems playing last 10 min of each cd, did you fast foward to that point and then starting playing it from that point or you let it play normally up to that point???

  5. I don't think that it have anything to do with how fast i burn
because then i would have trouble with the other Svcd's and Vcd's
but they're working fine only Svcd's i created myself and i have tryed
to updated the firmware with a blank30.rom but it say's Erease Failure
within a few seconds. so i don't now what else to do!?

  6. burning speed actually may have something to do with it...it's worth trying....burn your SVCD on a CD-RW at 4x and c if the problem occurs...

also, did you read my entire post, there seems to be someone else having problems when fast forwarding his SVCDs..is that what you're doing??? do the problems only show up when u fast foward your SVCDs or even if you play them normally without fast fowarding??
