Can you recommend an editing program that will enable me to cut/rejoin MPEG2 movies saved by a TV card in widescreen format, to burn to DVD please? This is to trim the ends and remove commercials etc. - and not too expensive! Some simple transitions would be great too.
I have the following gear: HP 200j DVD writer; Hauppauge Nova-T USB; Nero; Pinnacle Studio 8 - no widescreen optionand a choice of 800Mhz PC or 1.1GHz notebook. Many thanks.
