  1. Has anyone been able to rip/strip this and fit it on "1" DVD-R without re-encoding?

    It don't look like it

    even after stripping, I still had nearer 5Gb of files

    Encoded it just now using CCE method, just over 1hr or so it took

    what's the CCE method that it only took one hour to reencode?

  5. lol...Lucas...right.....should of thought about all of his ego extra's. Pimpmax, I think they must have used 1pass vbr. I can get encoding done in about an hour with one pass vbr. Quality is great too! At least it has been for me.

    I did use one pass. I did originally write I was just starting Multipass VBR which was just over another hour, but I changed post and forgot to add it

    Got whole DVD down to 4.32GB which includes everything on original DVD

    CCE is a great program as you can define which parts u want a higher bitrate if neccessary, it's fast, and I agree quality is great also!
