I've looked through the forum, but I've been unable to find anything that is the same as my problem.
I have a DiVX file.
I check for bad frames in vdub, there are none.
It's got VBR audio, so I extract as a WAV.
Using TMPGeNC I then create a 3GB file for burning to DVD, using the WAV as the audio source.
I use Ulead Movie Makes to author menus. THen burn the DVD.
When I play it back, the audio is out of sync by about 3 secs.
I get no errors during any of this.
It doesn't happen to all movies. Changing Lanes is one it has recently happened to.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

you did not do anything to correct the vbr audio. Before you extract the wav you must correct it. Audio/full processing mode, then audio/conversion/48000, stereo, highquality, 16 bit, then save the wav.

I've redone the mpeg now, making sure that the wav exports as above.
The 3GB mpeg that TMPGeNC spits out is fine. The audio is in sync.
So, it's got to be Ulead DVD movie factory that is causing the problem. Because once I've authored the chapters and made the disc image, when I play it, it is out of sync!
Any ideas?
