    when I create a menu in dvdmaestro and link it to the menu button in a movie, this menu is a title menu. Which means in the navigation simulator and on my pioneer standalone dvd player, I have to push the "title menu" button to launch it.

    However in all commercial dvd's, the main menu is the "root menu". How to create a root menu in dvdmaestro?

    Don't you need to set the 'First Play' to Menu
