  1. Does anyone know of any, strictly DVD burner websites, for people with questions? Or is this still the best place to go?

I have a Cindyne DVD Recorder. Is this a good one? I got it for a gift and don't know if I should keep it or not.. Will it record DVD's from my computer that will play on selected DVD Players. How will the quality be compared to VCD or SVCD?

    Please suggest something.

    Thanks.

  2. this is a really good site for DVD burning as well, as it has been updated...just check all the how-to guides

but which Cendyne burner is it? I got the DVR-105 and so far, i like it...it will burn DVDs that will work on most standalone players, but it all depends on the compatibility of your player...check the link to the left, dealing with DVD Players, and you might get an idea if it is compatible

but it's not like Audio CDs, where you can just pop the original and pop a blank in and get a copy..much more complicated, but that's what all the guides are for

and DVDs will almost always be better quality than VCD, and most of the time better than SVCD...it all just depends on the actual quality of the video you're trying to put on them

i'm still fairly new to all this, so anyone correct my mistakes
