    what are the problems?i use smartripper.
    last night i ripped the same dvd three times,the first two (divx)came out good i thought except the first one came out in spanish. LOL the thired(xvid)came out all green.(work on that problem later)
    so should i realy need to get the aspi-adapter?

    There is a problem with your ripping method... not with the presence or absence of an ASPI layer.
