First of all... Sorry for bad English (grammar or spelling)
Well... I am just wondering if it is just me or everybody have same feelings. When I am planning to buy something or looking for help, there is allways more people that are saying "it is not working" or somethink in that sense. Sony drive have issues with media, Pinnacle Studio 8 can't really burn and conversion is bad, when I am browsing through cpature cards posts almost all of them have issues... I just feel that nothing works like it should. Sometimes I feel that to make some device to work, you have to buy it when there is good constalation of stars. I don't beleive that you can say that if something works for me that it will work for you. Even when you have same hardware, same software and you follow same steps. Tehere is always some small "driver" or somthing that is different and it doesn't work. Result ??? You can read "This XYZ is crap, don't buy it!!!". When something go wrong, people are posting everywhere. If it's working like charm, they are quiet. I guess I just need to set some "filter" on what I am reading...
EDITED...
I was just thinking little bit more about this. Can you imagine that your car will work only on gas from Shell but not from Citgo and with Amoco gas it will stop every 10 miles ??? Or your TV from Panasonic will not play channels from 10 to 27 and RCA will not have collors on channels 78-100 ? Or your vacuum cleaner will not work becaouse you outlet have only 108 V instaed of 110 V ?

well i don't know about hardware as mine has always performed as it should. i sort of agree with you as far as software goes. some software seems to not be fully compatable with(or developed for) all systems,so they end up with alot of complaints. this is where i think demos of the software come in handy,as you can test it first to see what works with your particular system. there are of course, always bugs in the software, and the never ending improvements and upgrades that always seem to follow.
