    Does this sound right? I ripped the hole matrix in 2 hrs. with the rom reading at 0.8 ! Anyway does anyone know how i can speed it up anymore ? Thanks

    that's way too slow. i have a 12x and it took me about 20min at most. i suggest using the latest smart ripper. you can get from the tools section on this site.

    I had the same problem.. I updated my chipset drivers. Next time I 'backed up' a dvd, it took about 12 minutes for the vob's.
