  1. I have an annoying Problem with my Pinnacel PCTV Card, which I can use as a VCR and record directly to MPEG2 - DVD format.

my Problem is, that i can only capture audio with 44.1Khz and then convert it to 48Khz for burning it to a DVD.
The bad thing about it: The Audio-Quality gets worse by doing that.

Does anyone know, how I can Capture it directly to 48Khz?

I have an Onboard audio Device:
    ASUS P4SE 533Mhz

    Thank you

  2. I can't be 100% sure this is the answer, but I think you can rate it a calculated guess!
Have you actually tried one of the freeware capture programs mentioned around here to test the audio settings aren't a limitation of the Pinnacle software? (PCTV vision is crud, so alternative capture s/w is preferable)

If you can't select beyond 16bit stereo 44.1khz, on your menu for audio selection, & it isn't the vision s/w limitation, then it may be related to the onboard sound. Any low-end soundblaster PCI card,(eg: Sb Live!, even the old SB 128, & the audigy range), can do 48Khz,sound capturing.

  3. thank you. You're right.

But I don't want to consider a new soundcard.

    I have another solution:
I'm now using ssrc frequency converter. It works perfect.

    But thank you anyway
