  1. I'm trying to copy some dual layer dvds to dvd-r, can't figure out how to do it. Each DVD has 6 or 7 episodes on it, and each ep has its own VOB, so its like 6 movies on each disc. Can I split them up or reencode them with the usual tools (infoedit, tmpge, ect..)

    Any ideas?

  4. I was thinking the same thing, but in addition I would like to keep some, yet not ALL, of the episodes of another TV series DVD. I was looking at doing it like something this:

    1. Rip Each DVD to large .m2v & .ac3 files
    2. Merge into MPEG file with TMPGEnc MPEG Tools
    3. Load the MPEG into TMPGENG and crop out the episodes I want and re-encode to compress a bit
    4. Load MPEG's into Ulead Workshop and Author

I would rather load into Maestro as I am pretty familiar with it now and it seems more effiecient in compiling. Anyone know how I can either split the .m2v files or import the MPEG files into Maestro?
