  1. how many dual layers DVDs actually have the movie being less than 4.3 gigs? I've tried loading up a few movies into DVD decryptor, and when it selects the main movie files, the total selection usually comes out around 5-7 gigs...what movies have actually been done by just stripping everything but the main movie, and without re-encoding?

  3. Thank You very much for this exact number! No, wold You, please, be so nice and list them!

IMHO it is even harder to say, when no system is stated. Common sense sais, that PAL needs roughly 25% higher bitrate for its higher framerate (for filmed material) and resolution, so less 4.3 Gig movies in PAL.

it's kind of strange that you have dual layer dvd that is only 4.3 Gigs... DVD-5 would be much cheaper to manufacture...?

  10. I asked a question about a site like that on the "off topic" forum a couple of days ago, but got no response. I am glad to see one like that really exists. I wasn't sure when I asked that question. Lucky Me. Now I can save up and buy the DVD's I like from that site so that I can make more "back-ups." Damn!, a mosquito just flew right into my pupil...LMAO...wink, wink
