PAL to NTSC Conversion

Hi

I think I need help with this. I want to convert DVD movie from NTSC to PAL. I can use Smartripper/DVD Decryptor to get .m2v & .ac3 stream. I can use TMPGenc to convert movie from NTSC to PAL but what can I use to correct the .AC3 audio to 25fps?

Can anyone help me?

As far as I can ascertain, you won't need to resync the AC3 for 29.97 to 25 fps or anything of the sort. The fact that you have converted the video stream from NTSC to PAL is a separate ideal to what you would do with the audio stream.

Essentially speaking, if the NTSC->PAL conversion does not result in a change of running-time (eg 127m53s in NTSC equals 127m53s in PAL) then the AC3 soundtrack is perfectly okay to convert to its VCD mp2 equivalent without any time-dilation processing whatsoever. Give it a try and see how it goes, but I doubt you'll have any problems. If you do, then put down a more detailed description of what you're attempting to do with the conversion.
