Hello..

Hope someone can help me out here. Fore some time now my 717 have problems to play cd, noirmal DVD's allways work fine ...

The problem is when I insert a cd the player tries to detect the disc but fails. So either the player shuts down in standby mode or just eject the disc..

I know from surfing the web that there are more people with this problem...but never saw a fix for it.

Did take the player apart and cleaned the lence.... but there where some parts I would not dere to touch:d

Really hope someone could help me out here... allways nice to not have to send it to service.

....one more question: Can I update the firmware at home and if so...where and how can I download ?
