I'm trying to make my first VCD. I've tried using Ulead's MovieFactory and TMPGenc + VCDEasy and get the same results. I've tried my Smart & Friendly CDR and a Panasonic DVDRW (on CDR media) and get the same results. I've tried playing on two different DVD decks. What am I doing wrong?
My VCDs and SVCDs play a bit, then pause (as does the audio), play a bit more, pause -- playing in about 1/3 second chunks. The time counter on the decks also counts slower than real time.
I tried reducing the bitrate on SVCD, but it didn't help -- otherwise I've used all default settings for SVCD and VCD (mpeg-1) disks for both MovieFactory and TMPGenc/VCDEasy.
Thanks for any help!
John
