Need Help! I get red or purple blocks throughout a movie when encoding to mpeg. Is this because the source is from a cam? I don't have that problem with other videos that are higher quality rips. Any help would be appreciated. I am using tmpgenc 2.58.

I had the same prob, found this answer from forum user IncOg in another thread:
"Could be that you need the SMR codec installed.....u can find it here http://www.divx-digest.com/software/smrcodec.html"
This smr codec it works for me, no more pink spots!
