lite on lt163d dvd rom ripping only at 1x

AH IM SO FRUSTRATED...my lite on lt163d dvd rom used to rip dvds at 4+x now its only on 1x and takes n hour...i used smart ripper 2.41 and i dont kno what to do can anyone help?

might not be the greatest suggestion but it will fit it. just reformat your computer.

1) make sure the dvd disc is clean, no stratches, dirt, etc....

2) dma is enabled???

3) your dvd-rom may not be able to handle certain dvds very well...happens to every other dvd-rom

4) try switching to dvddecryptor or other ripping proggies and c if the same thing happens
