  1. Hello, once compiling my DVD movie with DVDMaestro (video-sound-chapter), burn the files in DVD-R using GER Pro DVD; I noticed that the movie does not start to play automatically once inserted in my home DVD player. The loading process starts then I see STOP on the screen, at that point I always need to press the play button on the remote control and the movie start to play. I assume that I need to make some change in DVDMaestro in order to have the DVD player to start auto-play from chapter 1. Any idea? Thank you. Also, is there any other software I can use to do similar tasks?

  2. I've been using Maestero for about a week or 2 now and I think it's great. Mucho improvement from my I-Author days.

I believe your problem is that you must set the 'first play' connection to what ever you want to play at startup. This would be set from the connections window.

I've made about 10 vids so far and they 'autoplay' on about 5 different players that I've tested.

  3. How do I do that? My DVDMarstro has no help file so I am kind of lost. Do you know where can I buy this software --- it seems impossible to find it.

    Thank you,
    Silvio

  4. Doom9 has a guide on using Maestro. It may help. I personally found that they were doing too many things so it gets a little confusing. To quote the guide:
Then we have some more assigning work to do. Right now our disc doesn't start anywhere. I want the disc to start with the main menu. To do this double click on the command sequences folder on the left part of the screen.
This seems to be your trouble and this guide shows some pictures for you.

If you speak spanish here is another guide http://www.videoedicion.org/manuales/dvdmaestro/dvdmaestro.htm. (I don't habla, but it was the 1st result from a yahoo search for dvdmaestro.)
