    SASAMI2k (Player) is great but I cant get it to play mpeg2's converted by TMPGE. I get sound, but black video.
    Anyone know how to overcome this?

    I think you need to install a mpeg2 codec.

    thanks Baldrick, but i downloaded and installed from http://www.maximusdvd.com/freedvdcodecs.htm hoping this would sort it, but it didnt.
