  1. A VCD on my Yamaha DVD510 (Philips DVD 11) uses the digital out respective the digital in of my amplifier. All is ok.

A SVCD has no digital output. I must manually switch my amplifier to analog input to hear audio stream.

I create PAL SVCDs with TMPG, VBR and only one audio stream. My amplifier is a Yamaha AX1 and input is set to automatically.

I think there must be a problem with creating the SVCD. Any suggestions?

    Thanks
    Stefan

Well, there is the problem: It does output the signal on the digital out, but only in MPEG-Format. If your amplifier does not decode this, you hear nothing. I have the same problem with my Philips 712. You can chosse that digital out is converted to PVM, but that applies to all sound systems, I would like to see it for every type (DTS, AC3, MPEG, PCM) separately. It's one of the great problems of almost every DVD-Player.
