  1. hi.. I read the tutorial for cutting and joining movies with VCDCutter and it says that VCDCutter doesn't make compliant VCDs. Does that mean the VCD cannot be played on a standolne VCD/DVD player?

    A non compliant VCD would be a Xvcd.
    Check the list of DVD Players to the left and see if your player can play Xvcd.
    If your DVD can play them (and you use Nero to burn) ,make sure the non-compliant box is checked or unchecked.
