Donīt know where Iīm going wrong here but I end up at a dead end!!!!
I have a .avi file and wonder if there is a program that I can use to record into a vcd straight away. I used Nero and I went to create cd with data, then video cd then I picked the file (.avi - 208,206kb - 77 minutes odd!!) and brought it down.. then it started ENCODING which took FOUR HOURS!!!!!!!! When it came to record the vcd I got an error saying: error on track-at-once-it actually took a long time to get to error message between 100 per cent finishing the encoding. I am left though with a file that is a .mpg file - it then says movie file (mpeg) but when I take this to record with nero again as a vcd the vcd created comes out as only a minute and a half long (the new movie file is 12,689 kb.)????? very strange!!!! Where the heck am I going wrong? I donīt mind starting from the .avi file again and eliminating the other but surely it doesnīt take four hours for each file - I have another vcd to create after that!!! It would be great if there was a program that recorded straight from the .avi file creating a vcd. Help please, this must sound stupid to all those professoinals here!!

What program did you use to burn again? Sounds like your conversion is fine, but your burning failed.
