When I turn my computer everything boots up fine and you can hear it but the moniter doesent do anything (I have tried it with two moniters so its not that) The light flicker on the keyboard when I first turn it on. Then they go out. First the computer was beeping realy loud but that was just an ATA cable was backwards. But now it just wont do anything(well It looks like its doing somthing but I dont get any respons from the moniter) HELP ME PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (P.S. Its not realy my computer Its a freind of mines. And its realy REALY old (has one of those 500 or so MB HDDs)

At that age of a computer...it's time to send it to it's grave. It could be an issue with the vidoe card or the motherboard. If you can get the num lock light to switch on and off while the computer is on, the system is still (generaly) responding. Parts for a system that old could be hard to come by so good luck.

Sounds like a video card problem to me. Any new hardware added? Sometimes a uncompatable piece of hardware will keep the video from booting, especially if it's PCI
