ok ive done everything step by step from turning a avi to a vcd and it still wont work.i used this guide and did it exactly.

now when i finish burning a box pops up and says this'
"CDRDAO disk info execution failed"
here is the log i copied from vcdeasy of the burn,incase this tells someone what the problem is,igot this wednsday morning and have been trying to burn a cd since then,i have not made even 1 that plays,i would really appreciate some help.here is the info vcdeasy gave me out of the log.

and i am putting this on a dvd+rw disk,i have a hp n5250 pavillion labtop,hpdvd200e burner and its connected by firewire if that helps

Firstly, read this: http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcd
VCDs are exclusively CD based.
You cannot burn a VCD onto DVD media.
Secondly, CDRDAO (which is the burner that VCDEasy uses) cannot burn to external drives ... not that you can burn a VCD image to a recordable DVD anyway.

thanks for the info,i just spent almost 500 on all this stuff and i was geting irratated cause i have had nothing but problems since i got it.thanks again for the help
