How do you convert SVCD to VCD

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere but I couldn't find anything.

I created a karaoke disc & as I had just got the nero SVCD plug in I did it as an SVCD disc. Then when I played the disc in my CDG player it dawned on my little brain that my CDG player don't support SVCD, only VCD. Der!

So I want to transfer the files back to VCD. But when I open them up in TMPG it tells me that it cannot open the file or it's unsuported.
If I try to burn them again in nero it will offer to re-encode the files before telling me it's an unsuported file.

There's nothing wrong with the files 'cos the disc does play in media player & power DVD.
Any help greatly appreciated.

You could try to multiplex the svcd with vcd headers or convert with dvd2avi to vcd
