Surround sound speakers
Advc 100 converter
heres my problem when i capture i capture without dropping frames but my audio is skipping when i playback what i have recorded i thought that it might be the builtin firewire because it had the texas instrument chipset so i disabled it and put in a nec firewire card and still the same result the vcr that i have hooked up to the advc-100 is a jvc super vhs et plug and play this problem is really driving me nuts all help appreciated.

Are you getting this problem with playback on your computer or on your settop dvd player?
Large avi's can be hard for your computer to play back smoothly- what are you using to play back?
Go on and encode the avi if you haven't already, burn it and see how the finished product looks... -
i am getting this problem with playback on computer and after i encode it but i think i might have it worked out will know tommorow its too late for me to stay up any longer.
