I'm trying to get a little better quality out of my downloaded movies would it be a good idea to uncompress the video an audio then re-compress it with huffy or some other good codec?Or could i get a few suggestion on how to make them look better. Most of the downloads i get are not too bad,an i know they aren't going to be but so clear. Please give me some helpful tips.THANKS

Simple: you cannot. Any editing/conversion will only make it look worse. (generally speaking anyways) Most downloaded movies aren't legal anyways, and as far as quality goes...

Rule of thumb #1: Shit in/Shit out
One can never improve the original source files quality, one can probably use some filters here and there but that will never "improve Quality""The software said Win XP or better, so I Installed Linux"
