mpeg2 codec installation

i 'm trying to install the mpeg2 codec, but when i click the setup.exe to begin, the message "please insert disk" apper. what disk?

anyone can help here?

MPEG2 Codec that is on the tools section.

did you try to d/l it again? unpack it and then run installer ...

here´s what i did: i ran codecinstaller.cab and then extracted the files to a folder. then i ran codecinstaller.exe and the 2 messages appeared saying it was completed.

but on the site that i downloaded the codec (from the tools section), the instructions are other (they say to run setup.exe , but this is the one that appeared a warning says to put on a disk).

did it installed or not? (i currently don't have a mpeg2 to watch).
