Hi there everyone! I have a quick request. Has anyone on the forum had any success converting the AMC releases of the X Files to vcd or svcd? I have watched all these files via videolan and quicktime and they all appear fine. However, when I try and run them through ffmpegx the process claims that they cannot find a video file. When I run them through divx doctor it dumps the ac3 sound files and then says that there is no video files when it attempts to flatten the files. What is going on? This is really bugging me all I want to do is convert these to vcds so I can get them off the hard drive and save some space. Ideally I would like to watch them via my DVD player rather than on the monitor. I am using an imac with osx.2 etc. etc. Any advice gratefully recieved!

I have the latest version of ffmpegX and I get the same error
"the process claims that they cannot find a video file." when I attempt to convert some .vob's to VCD .mpg's.
Anyone else had this occur? If so, how is is amended?
