  1. I got this divx movie that I want to convert to VCD, so I load up TMPGENC and load the video file...(.avi) and it loads perfectly fine, then onto the audio (same avi file) and it says unsopprted, so I check to make sure I have all my codecs and my Nimo codecs installed and I do, I then open VDUB and I extract the audio to (*.wav) and I then use that audio to load it up, yup (headache rising...) same old "unsupported" message error popped up again... I did some more research and I found out my DiVX has AC3 audio which means TmpgEnc won't support it, so I opened BeSweet to convert the AC3 to MP2 and it gave me a dos error upon transcoding:

ERROR: azid.dll missing, or old link

finally my headache got so tensed that I needed to post this prob, any suggestions would be helpful..

P.S. when converting to MP2, when I loaded the (.WAV) it told me to I renamed it to AC3 as told in one of the guides I read, also it didnt work so i left it as (WAV) and it still wouldnt work.... just letting you know!!

  2. An appropriate solution for you.

Extract the audio using vdub direct stream copy. Rename .wav file as .ac3. process it with ac3fix.exe (a dos command line proggy, use google to find it). Then convert to wav or mp2 with HeadAc3he (told you it was appropriate!).

    Hope this helps

    Search Comp PM
Then convert to wav or mp2 with HeadAc3he
And if HeadAc3he crashes, download the correct .dlls to suit your CPU.
