Hi All,
I've got a APEX 703. All the video outs go through my Sony Surround Receiver and then out to th VCR and TV. The problem I've got is that I can't watch a DVD without rewiring the DVD straight to the TV. This is getting really OLD! I have an older high end mitsubishi SVHS vcr and I was told that my brother that as long as a tape is not in the unit, it should allow the playback of DVD.
Can somebody tell a work around for this, or can I burn the rom on the APEX with code that disables the Macrovision?
Thanks,
Ken
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

You can leave your CD-R's and DVD's as they are. To disable the macrovision on your Player goto
http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayershack.php?select=Apex%20AD-703
as you need a firmware update.
