ok, I just bought a Sony DRU500a dvd writer, installed it and upgraded the firmware.
I ripped my dvd using smartripper, used IFOEdit, then burnt using NERO
The dvd works in my computer, but not in my Pioneer dv350.
I have since found out that pioneer has problems with discs burnt with NERO.
Can anyone suggest another method to burn the IFO VOB and other files?
Also, can anyone suggest any -R Discs that work with the Sony AND
my pioneer dv350 dvd player (stand-alone)?
I really hope someone can help me with this. Especially with the burning/
software part.
Much obliged
Steven

try using recordnow max or gear dvd pro to burn , as far as the media I think ritek will work for you...check under the media section.. alot of people post their findings their..
just my 2 cents -
I have Veritas RecordNow (not max though?)
What do I choose?
Make a data disc, music disc (guess not), or an exact copy?
I am guessing data disc? -
use the botton to make a data disc, then add your folder both audio and video..this is case sensitive, then burn away, try using 1x first ..then go from there..
hope this help
