    Ive burned a lot of divx-movies to cd-r disks... but now, when im trying to copy them back to my disk, they just arnt able to be copied back.

    i have not damaged the cds, and i am able to watch them directly, but not copy them to the harddrive.

    what shoud i do to copy them back to my disk?

    Try booting your PC into safe made with CD rom support and copying them from the DOS prompt.
