I have a simple question about the SVCD standard.
The max bitrate for SVCD is supposed to be 2.6Mbps. Does this include audio or is it video only.
i.e. could you have 2.6 max video + 128k audio
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Good question. I have always seen it as the total bitrate as my capturing software sets the video bitrate for SVCD's (its a template I can choose) at 2.400kb/sec and audio at 224kb/sec. Adding both would be 2.624kb/sec.
However some players will allow a greater bitrate for SVCD's. Check in the DVD Player Compatibility List on this site if your player is listed and see what max. bitrates (if listed) can be used. Sometimes 4.000kb/sec + with some DVD Players.
