ok ... let me see if i can explain this![]()
when i capture a movie, it captures fine. it looks like the original, because it was filmed with a movie camera in the first place, but when i capture, say, a TV show, its fine and everything, but it dosnt look the same. that is, it dosnt have that "video" camera look, but more of the "film" camera look. does this make sense ?? I am in the UK. is this because of the amount of frames ? do film and video capture the same amount of frames per second ??
its not that i am dropping frames, i watch the frame counter religously, and i have quite a fast PC.
i know what i am trying to say ... does this make sense to anyone else ??

woops. i assumed film meant a camcorder. i lose.

Nope, you didn't explain it properly.
Could be limts of yoru capture hardware or how you tune it.
Many TV shows are shot on film. Assuming they're all done with video cameras is a mistake.
Maybe you aren't using the msot accurate color model for your "problem" source.
