  1. Hi,
Can you please give me a step by step guide on how to split a movie into 2 DVD-Rs using Ifoedit 0.94

I have gone as far as decrypting the movie to my hard drive but from there I even tried to split the movie using the Ifoedit ver .94 and have gotten the movie splitted into the 2 folders but when I burn the movie into the DVD-R using Nero, the movie doesn't play on my stand alone DVD player.

I don't want to process/reencode the audio or video, I want to keep the same quality of the original movie even if I have to use 2 DVD-Rs.

    Thank you.

  2. Bump!

    Is it something like this?

    Using Ifoedit 0.95

    1- Open Ifoedit 0.95
2- Click Open on the left bottom of the screen
3- Browse to where the movie has been decrypted
4- Click the VTS_12_0.IFO file of the movie
5- When the movie directory opens in Ifoedit, click VOB Extras
    6- Click Split to 2 DVD-Rs
7- Create the 2 folders where Disk 1 and Disk 2 will go
8- After Ifoedit finishes, Open within Ifoedit the VTS_12_0.IFO file of each folder and click Get VTS Sectors
9- Try to play the movie with PowerDVD, if it works burn it with Nero

    ***Important***

When ready to burn make sure that all movie files are in a folder named VIDEO_TS (Notice that all are CAPS)
Nero creates the VIDEO_TS folder for you. All you have to do is drag the files to this folder in Nero.

    Please confirm. Thank you.

  3. This Nero, is this the regular Nero you download from the site or is it a differnet version for DVD-R burners? I have full retail copy, I just want to make sure.

  6. Why split it onto 2 dvd's ? just lower the bitrate on the movie and it will fit on one DVD. I have done this several times and compared it with the original. I can't even see the differense. You also keep the Audio quality as if it where the original movie.
