Something crazy has been happening to virtual dub. I have been using it off and on for about a year with NO problems. I haven't used it recently for about a month. Last night I tried to capture and it would not compress. I always use Huffy 2.1.1 and I usually get a compression of about 2.1:1 on the video compression. However, everytime I use it, since last night, it will not compress and it drops about 40% of the frames in less than a minute. I have never dropped more than 100 frames in anything less than 1 hour (that's about .01%) capturing at 704X480 using huffy. I can't figure out what is happening.
Please help!!
Note: I tried installing the newest version of virtual dub AND huffy to no avail.

Note:
I just tried MMC 7.7 using Huffy 2.1.1 at 720X480 at it captured correctly with zero frames dropped.
I guess for now I will use MMC until I get Virtual dub straightened out. I heard virtual dub is better. However, if they are using the same compression instrument, does it matter? Just wondering.
