Have Bush 2004 DVD player playing through Tosiba video machine to television set. (TV set does not have scart socket)
Music CDs play through TV with no problem.
DVD copies (home made) play through TV with no problem.
Original, shop purchased DVDs, picture fine but sound comes through for about 2 seconds in every 10.
Is there something wrong with the machine or have I missed something?
Any assistance much appreciated.
Thank you, petel@clara.co.uk

If you are talking about every DVD you purchase...then it sounds like your DVD player.

Thanks for your reply Wee haggis.
Put machine onto sisters TV set with scart socket, now works fine so nothing wrong with machine, problem is with my set-up. Looks like I will have to buy a newer TV.
Thanks again, petel@clara.co.uk
