  2. The D2V is not really a video format ...it's like a frameserve template created by DVD2AVI hence the file size is very small.

    From Sefy's guide:

"In Order for TMPGEnc to recognise D2V files, you MUST have the VFAPI (http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_download.html) and the DVD2AVI.VFP file (http://www.divx-digest.com/software/dvd2avi.html) located where the TMPGEnc.EXE file is! it will NOT work any other way! It is also sometimes helps to use the Forced Film option in DVD2AVI, but only if you are still unable to open the D2V files with TMPGEnc."

    Then open TMPGEnc gotto
    Option > Environmental Settings > VFAPI plug-in
to see if DVD2AVI.vfp is being loaded.

    Hope this helps.

  4. If you download latest TMPGEnc 2.59 (Regular or Plus) the TMPGEnc.VFP is
already included in the package, and all you need to do is unzip DVD2AVI in
the same location as your TMPGEnc, and it will work.

  5. All you need to do is leave the vob files on the hard disk as deleting these before encoding will give an error in tmpeg. It needs these files to work.

  6. @Whoosh25, I should give you a medal, you are one of the rare few who
actually READ the guide, and not just look at the pictures
