this is an aduio asf file of a LiT song that lycos have had something to do with, when you download it, it has to connect to lycos to download something while you register for it to play it.. all i wanna do is make the audio [since it's just an audio file] into mp3... i've tried TMPGEnc, Virtudub, searched on Google, tried to o the Div X trick with Nero and everything but i still have no idea, can anyone please suggest an easy way to rip/extract the auido from this song?...

hey, thanks man! that converted all my asf files to mp3! cool! thanks! but.....! the LiT file that i downloaded yesterday [and runs out on December 27th] is the one i really want! does anyone have any idea of how to unprotect asf files?... just so i can get the audio!

Have you checked to see if AsfTools can modify or convert the file?
