  1. Hi I got two episode of a show I am done editing it but however when I want to join them together an error came up saying both have different frame rate. My question is there any way I can join them because I had try to change the framerate only to found the sound was not in order. or can I do this, turn both of them to mpg with TMPGE then join them with virtualdub? when I change it to mpge with TMPGE does it all have the same frame rate?

    Thanx for reading..

    Hi

I have had a few AVI's that were diffrent. I found what the diffrence was and made a new AVI with Vdub to match the other.

However if you use TMPGE and load in a "template", your output mpeg is going to be exactly the same each time.

I use TMPGE and convert the AVI to a PALVCD.mpg ready for disk. A great program for edeting mpeg files is also M2 edit, very easy to join/split my VCDMpeg files.

Vdub can also be used on your now matching mpeg files.
