    Hi,

I re-encoded an .avi file using tmpg. I adjusted the environment due t a error accepting the file. File plays fine before encoding but after I burned the vcd the video tends to freeze up off and on while the sound continues with no problems. I would really appreciate any help!!! As I would like to add this file to my vcd/dvd collection. I also would like to copy my dad's Star Trek vcd collection too. Do I have to convert the audio to a .wav format before I burn the vcd? I noticed that my riends dvd player will recognize one of my vcd's as mp3 files but it plays fine in my player and its a cheapo Apex. Please some one help me. I will try converting the audio before I burn it this time. Thanks

    Hi again guys,

I forgot to say I used NTI CD Proffesional to burn the vcd's and it did give me an eror message thatthe vcd may not play correctly. Could that be my problem and should I use a different burning program?
    Thanks again

  3. Hey there!

Try to use ULEAD DVD Workshop to make your VCD`s after enconding them with TMPGEnc.

It`s the only program i use to burn my VCD`s out with. Try it! After a couple VCD`s, you will only swear to this program! ;o)

Greetings and Ho ho ho from Joze.dk

You can also use VCDEasy or Nero to burn your VCD's after you finish encoding with TMPGEnc.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P

I used VCDEasy and only thing wrong with vcd is a slight audio video synch which doesnt matter i guess since it is subtitled . This program worked better than nti. Thanks!!
