Maybe there is a place already for this topic but I cannot find it.
I have been backing up my dvd's for about a month now and every now and then I find a movie that just does not rip/burn properly. Then I have to search several different forums to find out what someone else did to fix the same problem they had. I would like this to be a forum where people can post their problem movies and their solutions. all in one place
example: i had a problem ripping and burning StarWarsII. I finally found an article that said that you must remove the other Angle first and they showed me how to do this. (i cannot find this post anywhere anymore and need to do the same to other movies like "What About Bob" And I am having problems backing up the WaterBoy.
Also, Is every DVD under 5.7 gig a DVD5 format? i am having problem backing up several disks that are under 5.7 or so. It would be really kewl if we had like a troubleshooting page that had alot of methods to fix problems. I could lookup, "sound out of sync" and the chart would say, try using method 5,8 or 9 to fix...... it seems redundant to answer everyones problems without them first going to the "frequently asked Problems" site to see if it is already answered there. Sorry so verbose.
Could someone tell me how to strip angles from a movie?
