DVD-9 to 2DVD-5 with working menus and extras

Hello
I'm trying to make a backup of the lord of the rings special edition with the guide povided in DOOM9.org http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/ifoedit-2dvdrs.htm.
I split the original into 2DVD-5 with ifoedit.
The problem is that when i load the 1rst DVD-5 some menus don't work.

Im havin the same kinda problems as you!!
I've tried dvdsplit and dvdburn and got less success.
Im nearly ready to give up , i think i might give dvdxcopy a go first though but im not too optimistic.

Do u use nero to burn? i use it , maybe thats the prob?

I don't use Nero because it doesn't make the authoring.
I'm using DVD Decrypter to burn my Backup's.
The Backup DVD can be loaded in a standalone player, but there are some menus that don't work, like customize or extras! The Standalone player frezzes!
I didn't have any luck with DVD-Cloner and i think that i'll have the same with DVDXCOPY.

Fairly depressin idnt it!!
1000s a people can do it no prob , but i've been tryin for months to do just 1 dvd properly but nada!

Think i might give dvd2svcd a go b4 xcopy.


Any1 want 2 buy a 104 wit 30 odd coasters ?????? (
